Getting Started
iTunes makes it fun and easy to organize and play your favorite podcasts, movies, music, and Internet radio stations. You can also download educational podcasts from IPFW. You can sync these recordings to your iPod or iPhone. In addition, you can burn CDs or even share your IPFW content with others on your local network.
How to Get Started
Get started following these simple steps:
- Go to Apple's iTunes page and download iTunes for either Macintosh or Windows.
- Double click on the downloaded Installer file and follow the instructions provided.
- Restart your computer and launch iTunes
- In a Web browser, return to this site (http://itunes.ipfw.edu/) and select either the "Launch IPFW on iTunes U" link if you are from the general public or the "Login for Classes" link if you are IPFW faculty or an IPFW student.
How to Find IPFW Podcasts
To find IPFW podcasts within iTunes, browse the topic and category channels. Once you've selected a podcast that interests you, select the Subscribe button. Once you've subscribed to an IPFW podcast, every track you download from that podcast will automatically be added to the Podcasts area for you through the iTunes application.
